The Arts and Me - My Resume 1983

On Friday I attended a candidate forum sponsored by the Boulder County Arts Alliance focused on the arts of course. As I was preparing for the meeting I was thinking about the importance of good art to the vitality of a city and about my history with the arts. I wanted to personalize my experience with art and try to have a little fun beyond standard campaign platform stuff, so I dug out my art resume from 1983. Here it is, typed on a typewriter.

I have fond memories of the art department at CU, the art building, now gone and replaced, my meeting Jill in basic drawing class etc.. It is great to remember the past, but as wistful as I may be, I don't want to live in the past.
